MSPSGL
— Mirrors, Signal, Position, Speed, Gears, Look. A timing routine for hazards.
Clutch bite
— The point where engine and wheels start to engage; car wants to move.
Coasting
— Rolling with the clutch down or in neutral; reduces control and is marked down.
Blind spot
— The area you can’t see in mirrors; quick shoulder check covers it.
Box junction
— Yellow criss-cross box; only enter if your exit is clear.
Crossroads
— Where two roads meet; priorities vary (marked, unmarked, staggered).
Oversteer/Understeer
— Car turns more/less than expected; manage with speed and steering.
Reference point
— A visual cue on the car/bodywork used to position accurately.
